Karen Atkinson, M.Ed
Karen attended Antioch University New England and earned her master’s in education and dual certification for Waldorf Teacher Training in both Early Childhood and Grades 1-8. She has served as Pedagogical Director, Professional Development Director, College Chair, and Board member at Waldorf schools in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. For over 30 years, Karen has been a Waldorf Educator and Pedagogical Leader in independent, public charter, and homeschooling settings. Currently, she is a Program Director and Coordinator at the Center for Anthroposophy, where she leads:

Her experience includes roles as an early childhood educator, grade school teacher, professional development director, mentor, coach, evaluator, and pedagogical administrator. Karen has also served on the Leadership Council for AWSNA and as a Representative for WECAN, working with both independent and public Waldorf education. She is dedicated to guiding teachers and school leaders on a path of self-discovery to reach their highest potential.
